Gas Prices Are Crazy
We drove by a Chevron station with $3.299 gas. The two cheap stations across the steet were $3.319 and $3.379 a gallon. Gas prices are crazy when the “cheap” gas is more expensive than Chevron, which is alway about the highest around. Interesting.
Is the price of gas affecting you and how your are living? Have you had to sacrafice some things to make ends meet? I hope each of you reading this blog is having a easy time of adjusting. So far it is not a problem for Sharon and I. I hope it continues that way.
Sharon and I have not been camping this month. We need propane in the motorhome, so Monday we will get propane and go to the beach from there. We will spend the day at the beach and if the notion hits us by then, we may camp overnight for one night. When we do that we leave by 7:30 in the morning and come home the second day after 5:00 in the afternoon. We make it a full two days of relaxation.
Because be have camp grounds close, even our 5–6 miles per gallon motorhome does not cost a lot for a trip. One way mileage to the beach campgrounds is 13–15 miles and 20–22 miles. A little expensive, but so is a dinner out for two (other than McDonalds).
