Excellent Ebay Day Yesterday

I got a lot of auctions listed yesterday and saved well over the $20 I thought I would.  It was and excellent Ebay Day Yesterday. What if I put that much energy into work everyday?  HMmmmmmmm!  What would that mean for my life and for my finances?  When you work for yourself, the rewards are promotional to the effort.

When you sell on Ebay, not every item you list sells the first time.  Most people have a small number sell and a large number left over that do not sell.  At that point you can relist with the same starting price or you can lower your price.  Often what you think is a valuable item is not that valuable on the Ebay market.

Research is the key to higher dollar sales.  If an item does not sell, but normally sells for your price, it could be the particular buyers for your item were out of town and missed your auction.  In that case do not lower the price, just relist the item.

Selling on Ebay is a balancing act.  You have to balance value with market value.  You have to balance local store or antique shop value with auction value.

Do not fall in love with your products.  In business the object is to sell you service or product. It is the same on Ebay.  If you items do not sell lower the price or combine two or more similar items into one auction just to get rid of them. and still make some money on them.

This is very important with low dollar items.  The Ebay fees will add up if you list an item too many times and you will lose your profit.  Like I said a balancing act.  Pay close attention to your business and it will reward you.  Do not pay attention and you may make money, but you will not make a much as you could.
