Taxes and Progress
I am as fast at doing my taxes as I am at getting my internet marketing going. I keep putting off the whole thing. I gather information and then do something else. I find some more info and put it in the pile. I am making progress, but not the kind I would like. My taxes are simple and easy to do. I use Turbo Tax to do all the math and calculations. Still I do not just jump in and get it all done quickly.
The trouble here is not really not liking to do taxes. It is an underlying personal fault of not getting things done in a timely manner. This is seen in our Ebay efforts and our internet marketing activity. This is an area that if overcome would jump our income dramatically.
How about you? Are there areas of your life you tend to be very slow at getting around to. Are there time this spills over into other areas? Can you see patterns in how you are doing things? If so, recognizing the problem is the beginning of solving it.
I have been recognizing this tendency in my life more lately. I have also been making progress with it. I am selling on Ebay again and working on my Adwords PPC campaigns.
OH, yesterday I bought an amazing search tool. Well it is amazing to me. It makes searching the internet and more specifically your keywords super easy. It give results you never thought of looking for. If all you do is search the internet for information you personally want this is a great tool. If you are into internet marketing the Search Automator's functions are fantastic. Search Automator is the name and you can check it out at Search Automator! Be sure to watch the video — play button below the top picture.
It does not matter whether you buy a lot of tools or not. What does matter is that you know what is available to you. You may not have a use for many tools I mention, but they may give you ideas. They tell you what other people are doing.
Do you know that many of these tools are not created by the “author”? Often a marketeer has a “ghost writer” or “ghost programmer” do all the work and then put their own name on it. Bill Gates does not write Windows programs. He has his employees (ghost writers) do it for him. You can do this too.
