Starting Clickbank and PPC

I have a Clickbank account and I am starting a Clickbank and PPC campaign.  Clickbank is free to use to promote other’s products. You can find digital products that match your site and advertise them on your site.  You get a commission any time someone buys a product.

One way to get visitors to your page with the Clickbank ad is to us pay per click (PPC) to generate traffic. I will use Google’s Adwords for my campaigns.  I will pay for ads to attract visitors to my pages with Clickbank products on them.  I will make a profit if someone buys a product.

If you use any PPC program, you need to watch it carefully and tweak it regularly to be sure it is profitable and that it is not losing money.  I am using Perry Marshall’s manual to help me with my Adwords campaigns.  Check out Perry’s ebook at The Definitive Guide to Google AdWords  He talks about carefully tracking and much more.

So far I have not gotten serious about making money with Adwords campaigns.  I plan to become more aggressive this month.  This is a busy month. Camping, taxes, PPC, Clickbank and Ebay sales.

By the way our Ebay sales are doing fairly well this month, but not a high as I would like so far.  I need a more disciplined use of my time to make the amounts I target.  One problem is that I do not daily look at a plan and follow it.  I still do not write down my plans and evaluate them on an ongoing basis.  I get started for a while then do not do it.

Once I really treat this business like a business, I should take off and make some money.  In the mean time I am having to put up with sporadic results.  It is not the process or the plan, it is me.  I am my worst enemy.  That needs to change and change rapidly.

Where are you on the consistency scale. Do you make daily consistent effort toward the goals in you life?  I certainly hope so. If not, why not join me in making an effort to change.  If we keep making the effort, at some point it is going to stick and there will be no stopping us.  In the mean time we will make progress here and there and can use that to build on.
