Woke Up To $50
I woke up to $50 in my email. Well, a notice I just earned an affiliate commission of $50. OK, this is once again a wakeup call to get busy. Each page you create on the internet and ad some sort of advertising on is a potential income at some point in time. Some pages will do well and others will not. The secret is to keep putting pages on the internet, on your websites.
Websites! Plural. If you intend to make some decent money on the internet, it is unlikely you will do it with only one website. Multiple streams of income from multiple websites is how I understand it works. When I read various forums people are not talking about having one site. They are talking about having 10 or 50 to 100 and some MANY more than that.
Business is a numbers game. The more people who walk into your store, the more products you can sell. The more products you offer the better chance you have of making more money. It is the same online with websites as it is off line in a brick and mortar store. Also, just like off line businesses, when you open another storefront (website) your chance of making a better living increase.
The wonderful thing about creating a new “store” or website online is that is does not cost you an arm and a leg to do so. You can start a new site tomorrow for under $20 easily. Can you believe that? Start a business for less than $20. WOW! That is amazing. I think I just talked myself into opening a new business.
My Adsense income is down this month. I am not sure exactly why, but the answer is to create more content and not worry about when it dips. I regularly read that online income goes up and down. Again, the key is to have enough content and enough websites that it will not matter if it slows in one or two areas. Overall you will maintain your income level.
An internet friend told me he is having good luck putting a Google Search box on his site. It is like the Ebay search box I have put up in the past, only it goes to Google. Each of these search boxes is an affiliate program. When people search using the box or buy using the box (depends on the program) you get a commission. A commission can be from a few cents to a few dollars. That is just by having a search box on you pages.
In the next few days, expect to see a Google search box on this blog. I will also be putting the Google search box on other pages of my websites.
