IM Yesterday, Ebay Today
As I told you I am splitting my efforts between internet marketing and selling on Ebay. IM yesterday and Ebay today. How did I do yesterday? Terrible. I virtually worked all day and did nothing. A very non-productive day. Sometimes I wonder why that happens.
Each day I start out with the best intentions and plan to put in a full hard day’s work. I find this easier to do with Ebay sales than with IM. Maybe it is because I am experienced with Ebay and made a living from their auctions in the past. Internet marketing is new and I have not gone above $300 a month with it yet.
The funny thing is I REALLY believe there is more money in IM than in Ebay over the long haul. I think the problem is I am living in the “short haul” and need money today.
Anyway, today I plan to list 10 or more items on Ebay. Sharon is my picture taker and she packs the orders after we have been paid. We are a good team working at selling on Ebay.
Hey, maybe that is another reason I do not do as well at internet marketing. Sharon is not involved in it at all. Well, she proof reads my writing but other than that she really does not know what I am doing.
If you read the blog regularly you know Sharon if my wife of 39 years. Since 1995 we have worked side by side in our own businesses. We are still in love and more than that, are best friends. We love working together 24/7.
In 1995 I was down sized from my job of 20 years. I was replaced by a lower paid, younger, temporary employee who received no benefits. We have had very good years and very bad years along the way to today. We just stick together and get through the good times and the bad.
