Spending More Time Working
Yesterday’s blog has me thinking more about what I am doing and not doing. I looked at the time log I kept for a couple weeks. I see a serious problem. I am doing a lot of things. The trouble is I am not doing the most important things.
I believe the things I am doing are moving me forward, but they are not making me any money. I hope that makes sense. I am studying, I am learning. I am reading. I am contributing to forums, but I am not writing content for my projects. The one most important thing is not getting accomplished.
Sometimes I wonder if I will really “get” internet marketing. That is not what I need to get a grasp of. There are so many excellent places to learn IM, it is not really a consideration. What I need to do is grasp the concept of, “Writers Must Write”! Or, in different words, “Workers Must Work”.
Are you in the same place? Are you in a similar place? I have two pages of content I can complete today. What do you have you could do? Join me. Let’s get on a roll and move forward toward our goals.
I feel like I am sitting on a bomb that is about to explode. The bomb is internet marketing and the explosion will shower money all over the place. I get excited about the prospect and then I am afraid to light the match and touch it to the fuse. This is confusing and exciting all at the same time.
Maybe problem is a thin wall of tissue paper that looks formidable from a distance but could be broken through with the simplest movement. I am often amazed at things that hold me back and when I actually complete the thing, I wonder why I did not do it sooner.
