Great Holiday Weekend

It has been a great long weekend so far and we still have one more day to go.  We have had two potluck dinners and a pot luck breakfast.  Way too much food, but it sure is delicious.  Tonight we are having a leftovers potluck.

There were deer on the hill above the campground this morning when I walked Poky The Dog.  Another camper said they had been down in the campground earlier.

Weather today has been nice most of the day, but it was raining a little while we were in the rec room watching the Daytona 500.  The rec room has tables, chairs, an electric stove, three refrigerators and a TV.  This is a nice group campsite.

All of the trees around us have moss hanging from all of the branches.  When it rains, the moss catches rain drops and the sun on the droplets make it look like the trees are full of diamonds. It is really pretty.

Of the group, three have left.  One left in th 6 o’clock hour this morning another other left in the eight o’clock hour the last left sometime this afternoon during the race.

Sharon and some of the other women were playing Mexican Train, a dominos game, while the men we watching the race.  There is also an eagle tour boat.  A boat on the lake take people out searching for bald headed eagles.  The eagles winter here at the lake.

This is our fourth rally here at Lake San Antonio.  There are some who have been here each and there are new people too.  The group changes a little bit each time.
