Finished Two Webpages
I got busy yesterday and finished two webpages. I will have my wife proof read them. I will read them again this morning and upload them to the internet. Today I plan to write two more webpages and one article. This is all it takes to get me on track and moving toward a decent living from internet marketing.
Remember this is not a get rich quick scheme. This is a business where you have to consistently work to make money. It is the same as a brick and mortar business. It takes a lot of work. When you are committed and do the work, the rewards will come. Also, as with many brick and mortar businesses, it takes time to break even and start earning a profit.
The magic I see in operating any type of internet business is that you can set the standards and goals you wish to reach. It can be done online a lot easier than in any business off line. They key is hard work. The good thing is that in internet marketing the hard work isn’t really hard, it just requires consistent activity.
Just about every guru you read tells you, “The money is in the list”. This means you need to get an email list of people who are interested in what you have to offer. You send a weekly newsletter of quality information and put an ad or two in each newsletter. You become known in the internet community and you make a sale here and there on products you recommend to your readers.
The products you recommend could be your own, or someone else’s that you make a commission on. Creating a newsletter has been on my mind for a long time now, but I haven’t come up with what I think would be that interesting every week. I have a couple ideas, but I am still not sure.
With so many newsletters, another one has to be something of value, not just a weekly sales pitch. This is something for you to think about too if you plan on making money on the internet.
