Coming Up With Answers
I keep thinking about the direction I am going and I am coming up with answers. One answer that keeps coming back to me is daily productive work; NOT 4 hours of study, or reading forums. WORK! It seems that for all I do other than creative work; I am just spinning my wheels.
There is no profit in study. There is no profit in forums. There is only profit in a product you produce. Yes, education is necessary, but it is not where you earn your money. If you work for a company, your product is the work you do for them. If you want to improve your work or get more money, you get more education. HOWEVER, you get the education on your own time, not on company time.
When you are working for yourself, you need to take the same philosophy. Work is when you are actively producing a product. Education is what you do after-hours.
I seem to keep coming back to this. The reason is, I have this problem of spending more time on education than on production. Do you find yourself in my boat too? The only answer is to sit down and work. If you are going to succeed in any project, even mowing the grass or shoveling snow, you cannot read about it all day and expect to get the job done.
Today I actually worked. I wrote to new pages for one of my websites. The only problem is, I could have written five pages if I had tried. I am telling you all this in hopes that any of you having my difficulty staying focused will see that you are not alone. Maybe you are focused but a friend is not. Show them my blog. Let them know the problem is not theirs alone.
I am in some forums where I can see there are many people who are adrift on this internet sea and are not sure where to turn. The answers are coming to me and I will share them with you as I discover them.
Yes, I read about all the people making $100 a day or $1000 a day, but sometimes I am more inspired by the person who just made their first $10 in one day than the ones who are already well on their way.
