Working Has To Be WORK in IM
I am finding that hours in front of the computer mean NOTHING if you are not producing a product. Working has to be work in IM. Internet marketing means MARKETING. Marketing is creating and selling a product. If you are writing a web page, writing an ebook or writing an article, you are working. If you are spending hours at the computer writing a program, you are working. If you are reading IM forums and studying IM, you are not working.
From my personal experience and from what I read in IM forums, it seems like a lot of people spend a lot of time on the computer but not doing anything productive. OH, they say they are learning, contributing or studying techniques, but in reality they are spending time doing “nothing”. In sales you are selling when you are face to face with a customer selling your product. Same with IM you are working when you are actually creating a product that you can upload to the internet.
Where am I falling down on the job? I am spending too much time on the computer in things other than creating a product. My product right now is webpages. Shortly it will be products for sale. My products and other peoples products that I advertise. 80% of my time should be creating my product.
Do you see a message here? The message I am giving you is the same message I am giving myself. If you want to make money in IM the only way you will do it is by creating something that you upload to the internet. Researching and immediately writing about is part of that.
Active creation of a product will make you money. Study in your off time. Read forums in your off time, but WORK WHEN YOU WORK!
