Making Large Amounts Of Money
Are you sacrificing your life by making large amounts of money? If you have not time for family, friends and living, the answer is yes. You need to balance your business life with your leisure life. However, you do need to get creative and find time you can use to create and online business that will give you and your family more time and more money to do the things you value.
Spending quality time with your family is important. I hope quality time for you doesn’t mean 5:00 P.M. until 11:30 P.M. every night with your family ………….. watching TV. You could all be in separate rooms and not know the difference. Quality time is, “in your face” time when you are face to face communicating, playing games, creating and doing things together.
Make time for your family. You may find that by making a concerted effort to be sure you have time for your family, you find you have time for other things too. Spending more time in your business could be the answer to spending more time with your family. If you make better use of the hours you have each day, you may find that you actually have more time than you imagined.
Sharon and I quit watching TV for three years. When 9–11 hit our country, we turned the TV back on for two years, then we turned if off again. We do not watch TV. Not the news, not Leno, not Oprah. The rare exception is when a major event happens we may turn it on for some news of that event. Hurricane Katrina turned our TV on for about 2–4 hours. The Tsunami did not get it turned on.
I’m not saying to do what we are doing, but if you become more selective in what you watch, you may find a lot of valuable time is available to work at your online business. Giving up one hour of TV a night, 5 nights a week for 50 weeks a year will give you an extra 250 hours of time . What could you do with an extra full six 40 hour work weeks of time? Thank you Lesley, of East Devon Guide, for correcting my math. I was way off. YIKES!! 6 full work weeks a year for giving up 1 hour of TV a night.
Do you see where I am going with this? You have time for your job, for your business and for you family. You just need to set priorities and decide what is worth making time for. Would a trip to Disney World or a Caribbean cruise we worth spending the time for? Could you spend time creating wealth and still give fully to your family? Sit down, write up a plan and see if we can do this together.
