CSI -- Crime Scene Investigation
This morning a Crime Scene Investigation van drove by Poky and I. We were taking our morning walk. Another murder was committed in our city only a couple blocks away from our warehouse. This is the third close by killing in the past few years. There are a lot of gangs in our city and these deaths are usually gang related.
Last night about 7:00 p.m. a body was reported. The crime is still under investigation and the street is condoned off with yellow “CRIME SCENE — DO NOT CROSS” police tape. It sure takes a long time to clear a street when a murder takes place.
What is funny is, yesterday our street was closed with orange cones and police cars and motorcycles. A police helicopter flew overhead. It was only a parade for the opening of a local church. For a few minutes Sharon and I wondered what was going on and if we might be in danger.
