Snuggle Sack For Our Dog
Sharon made a warm snuggle sack for our dog, Poky. He stays warm and toasty inside this double lined sleeping bag. It is washable fuzzy material (be careful some is “dry clean only”) folded over twice to make a sleeping bag lined with the same material inside as out. The tube mouth is held open in our by thin a piece of fiber glass rod. It is just sewn into the hem on the open end. Any rod that springs back into position when let go of would work.
We saw similar sacks at a dog show and they wanted about $85 for one this size. Sharon had the piece of material and I had the fiber glass rod. Since it was spare materials, effectively this bag was free to make. Even if we had to buy the materials, it would have been a lot cheaper than $85.
Poky is not a spoiled dog, or is he?
