Frugal and fast housing. Sharon found a link to a site where you can build a home in a very short time. The idea behind it was emergency housing for hurricane victims to live in while they rebuild. Check out this innovative building at Frugal & Fast Housing.
I would think that this would be an ideal solution for many people who find themselves in need of shelter. Homeless people, people in debt whose rent payments are dragging them further down. I suppose zoning regulations would be a problem. Also, no one would want a “shanty town” in their neighborhood.
On October 18, I showed you a picture of one homeless woman’s living space. See it at Homeless Shelter. Not an ideal place to live. There are a lot of people who are not drug addicts, alcoholics or mentally incompetent that are living on the streets and in cars. They are victims of excessive credit, down sizing, divorces and many other financial disasters. It is a shame there are not better answers for those down on their luck.
I hope they find solutions soon
