Living In A RV

With the high cost of housing is is possible to live in a RV? Did you know that many people live and travel in RVs full time? Many others live in RVs but don’t travel. They live in a fixed location. Our motorhome is 34 feet long. It has a bedroom with queen sized bed, a tub and shower, a 4 burner gas stove with oven, double kitchen sink, refrigerator, booth style dinette, couch and easy chair and much more.

If we needed to, it would be easy to live in our motorhome. It has two air conditioners for the heat of summer and a forced air furnace for the cold of winter.

Many newer trailers and motorhomes have pull outs or “slides” that pull out (electric motor does the work) and expand a room. When you enter some of these they are as spacious as some small apartments. They are beautiful to behold. When you enter you think are are entering a well appointed home.

Our 1988 34 foot motorhome cost us $10,000. We could have paid even less and off course could have paid much more. There are also travel trailers you could buy.

Living in a RV would be similar to living in a bachelor apartment, but with the separate bedroom, maybe a little better.

Could You Live Here?
