Camping Was Great

Our two days off camping were great. When we camp locally, we head out early and have breakfast at the beach. We stay at the beach until after lunch and then head for the campground. We spend on night camping and then head out about noon the next day before checkout time.  The next stop is the beach again. We stay there until after dinner and then head home.  The campsites we go to are only 14 to 20 miles from home

Having breakfast at the beach is really nice.  That first day it really  windy and the wind blew mist off of the tops of waves.

Wind Blown Waves

The wind on the ocean the pushes mist along on the ocean. The white in the picture below is mist blowing. It is very beautiful to watch.

The campground is across the street from the ocean and rangers give tours. One  park ranger was giving some kids a tour of the tide pools. I tried to get a picture of him and the kids but it didn’t t turn out that good. I think I was too far away.

See the ranger and kids over on the right?

Here we are, ready to have a nice steak dinner with corn on the cob. All cooked over our campfire. Although we have the motorhome with a 4 burner stove and oven, plus a microwave over,  we like to cook on a BBQ or on a grill on our campfire. Did I say we light candlelight dinners?
