Feb 1, '05 $5 Roses
Because we live in an agricultural area with a 12 month growing season, we get a lot of fresh produce and flowers. There are street vendors who park with a few buckets of flowers. Here is Sharon getting a dozen pink roses for $5. The red roses were $7 a dozen.

You can buy very nice blooming orchids for only $12. We have a number of local orchid growers and the blooms on some are very beautiful. Each time you check them out, there are some more beautiful than the last time you were there.
