Jan 29, '05 Sales Tax Filing Day
Today is tax day. I need to do my state sales taxes. Being in business means collecting sales tax and it is time to pay what I collected. Luckily sales taxes are a very easy thing to do. I use Intuit's QuickBooks. All I have to do is created some reports, print them out and pull the data and plug it into the tax forms.
Other than taxes, I think I will work on some web page writing today. I am not sure I will get any uploaded, but I have some ideas I want to get started at least in rough draft form.
It is a beautiful sunny day today. The rain is gone and it makes me want to get out. Tomorrow we will go to the Farmer's Market at the Oxnard Harbor. I think we will spend most of the day at the harbor relaxing.
