Jan 25, '05 We Are Making Money

Frugal living gets old after a while. You usually are living frugally because of financial situations. Your dollar does not go far enough. Often there are unpaid bills left over at the end of the month. When you get caught up, that is all you are, caught up. You do not have the money to do some of the things you would like to do. I do not mean a Hawaiian vacation. I mean simple things like go to a movie or spend a one night get away at an inexpensive motel.

So, what is the answer. Investing. Well, you say you do not have money to invest. If you had investment money, you would not be living so frugally. I do not mean investing your money. I mean wisely investing you time. You say that you do not have time either. Wait a minute. Most people that say they do not have time
spend three to five hours a night watching television. What if you gave up some of that time to change you financial situation? What if you spend you TV time studying and learning how to make money.

In October of 1998 we were dead broke. We had pink notices on our utilities. Our public mini storage sent us a notice that we needed to pay or they would auction off our stored belongings. At the end of October I finally signed up for selling on Ebay. By the end of December we had all of our utility bills caught up and we had $1000 of dental work done. It was an amazing way to make money. From that day until this, Ebay has been our only source of income. Oh, I had a couple websites that were making some money, but not enough to live on.

Do you want some money in the next week? Look around your house and see what you do not want or need and sell it on Ebay. Study their selling guide which you can find on their SITE MAP. Sell your less prized items first to get your feet wet. When you understand how it works, go for selling more and more. When you run out of items to sell, you can get more at garage sales. Then when you really know what you are doing you can look for local source of other goods to sell. To check it out click on the logo

To get an idea of what you have is worth on Ebay today, you can do a search on their site. It is amazing what some items sell for. We had some old Hot Wheels cars from the 1960's that sold for over $50 each.

We have found other ways of making money on the internet. Yesterday was our best day in a long time making money from our websites. We learned about doing this years ago, but never really applied it. Suddenly we have decided to change our lifestyle by generating an income that does not require a business location or any inventory. Check out yesterday's blog to get a free book that completely explains what we are doing.
