Jan 17, '05 CAR REPAIR!
Today we will try an make an appointment to get our new car repaired. During our rainstorms, the trunk leaked. It had a gallon of water in the wheel well. The problem started last July when my wife got rear ended. Apparently the trunk repair was not as good as it should have been.
NEW CAR? What's frugal about a new car? We won it. Did you check out our "Winning Radio Contests" page? This wasn't actually a radio contest, but it was daily advertised on our local country station. William L Morris, the Chevy dealer in Simi Valley California was celebrating their 75th anniversary by giving away one car a month for a year. All we had to do was put our name in a basket. When my name was drawn, I won car number 6, a Chevrolet Cavlier. It wasn't quite free. We had to pay the state of California $920 for tax and
licence fees. Of course, this year I'll have to pay income tax on it. FREE just never seems to be free.
