Working For Yourself
I worked for for “boss” for a long time. When I got downsized and worked for my self, my life changed. Working for yourself is a reward in itself. Yes, we went through a lot of changes, but they strengthened Sharon and I and our relationship with each other. It has been eleven years since I worked for a company.
One of the benefits has been that I quit eating TUMS on a regular basis. The disadvantage has been our finances have been on a roller coaster ride. UP and DOWN. We have always made it, but there have been some tough times.
What really saved us was discovering Ebay in October of 1998. Ebay took us from dead broke to our of debt within two months.
You may think that working for yourself would be great. If so, the time to begin is right now. Do the planning today. If it is working online as Sharon and I do, get started today. You do not have to quit your day job to be in business for yourself. Many people have part time businesses. Some sell at swap meets on weekends (we did that). Some sell cleaning, health or beauty products part time.
My preferences are Ebay and internet marketing. What could you do to improve your financial situation? Think about it and start a plan to do it.
