The Excitement Is Over
OK, the turmoil of the last couple of weeks is over. We are settled into our new home and business is improving. So, the excitement is over and it is time to concentrate on saving money (being frugal) and making money (being an entrepreneur). If we balance those two things for right now we will be living good.
YIKES! My Google Adsense is paying well this morning. Apparently I have an ad on a page that is paying about $1 a click. This is why many of the gurus talk about picking topics that have high paying ads displayed on the pages. This way you make more money per click. Some of the click I get are only for one or two cents. It takes a lot of those clicks to make any money.
I went to the page that was generating this money. I did a screen save of the page (took a picture of the page). I now have a picture of the page. I know what ads were paying. It was one of two. I will try to target these topics and see if I can get more of this type of ad.
No, it is not this blog. The ads are running on one of my other sites.
This is what I have talked about, working smarter. If you create webpages on popular topics that advertisers pay top dollar to get their Adsense ads seen, then you have a better chance of making more money.
This is why I like internet marketing more than Ebay sales. I got to work this morning and looked in my Google Adsense account and “there was money”! This was money created by what I have done in the past and am being paid “residuals” on. Actually it is not residuals, but just ongoing advertising income. I like it.
So long term I will target internet marketing to make money. For today I need money NOW, so Ebay sales is what I will concentrate 90% of my efforts on.
