What Are We Going To Do
Right now we are investigating our options. What are we going to do? We are going to wait until Wednesday to make a decision. We have two weeks to move out. OH, you just tuned in today? Read yesterday’s blog to see the story.
Between now and then we will think about what is best for us. If we reach the move out deadline and do not have a place to live we will stay for a week or two or more in a motel. Motel 6 or one of the lower priced economy place would fit our budget the best.
In the mean time we are now going to start working Ebay hot and heavy. This is something we should have started doing a long time ago, but we did not have to. We received a small inheritance when my parents died within 6 months of each other. Father 97, mother 92. We took time off from work. We worked a little, very little. We played at working some.
The inheritance is about gone, so it is not a cushion we can fall back on. It will get us a first and last on a rental home. YIKES. So far the only decent place with 2 bedrooms and one bath is $1350 a month. Double that with the deposit. I hope your area has more reasonable housing than ours.
California housing is really ridiculous. I checked online a couple weeks ago. Our home we bought new in 1968 and lost to forclosure is now worth over $500,000. That is a 1385 square foot house in a good area. Not the best area, but a good one. WOW!
How can young people afford to live in today’s economy? I knew things were high in the area, what with the median house price being over $600,000. It has now struck home how tight the housing market is for someone on a budget.
Do you want an excellent reason the investigate selling on Ebay or getting into creating webpages and doing internet marketing? Housing is the answer. Maybe you have a home. How about your children? Your family is in good shape, what if you could create a business that you could help families in your area survive hard times? How about if you could move from the cold or hot to a place you think you would really like to live?
This is exactly how Sharon and I will make it. Ebay and internet marketing.
