Have You Ever Been To Egypt?
I had an adventure yesterday. Have you ever been to Egypt? Yesterday I went to see the famous Nile River. When you See Nile you forget everything. AND, yes I did forget the blog yesterday. I thought about it first thing in the morning and then never again, senile.
Yesterday was my fist attempt at selling a large lot of items. I often sell small lots, but this time I put of 72 old Apple Macintosh computers. Their original style all in one with the monitor built in. Here is the listing and how I handle shipping on a huge lot or on very heavy things I will not ship Lot of 72 Macintosh Computers. You could use similar language for your own auctions. This way, I am limiting my buyers to those within a few hundred miles.
Normally you do not want to limit buyers to an area by not shipping, but if you do not have shipping facilities or if packing a large lot is beyond what you want to do, this is an answer.
We are supposed to sign our lease tonight. It was supposed to be last night, but he landlord worked late and has a sick child. It will be nice living in a house again.
House? OK, this is a residential home that has been divided into two rentals. Sort of like a duplex, but not really. Our portion if 655 square feet and is locked and closed off from the other half of the house. It has a kitchenette, 10x16 bedroom, bathroom with shower and living room. It is $800 a month. YIKES! That is a lot of money for a small space.
High housing prices are the cost of living in California. We also have high gasoline prices compared to most places. We are over $3.00 for regular and a friends blog shows $2.45 in Utah for regular gas. Ah, the price of California sunshine.
Spiraling prices are a good reason to think about what ways you can make a little more money. Ebay and internet marketing are my ways. What are yours.
