Finding Things To Sell
We are finding more and more things to sell in our warehouse. Things I did not think had much value in the past. Electronic parts are selling fairly well for us. Last night I was researching old computers on Ebay. What I thought I would have to scrap since they had no value, seem to be selling well on Ebay. Many vintage computers sell for $50 to over $100. I have lots of vintage computers.
As I work toward making increased amount of money to cover our newest expense, moving into a house, I keep thinking that internet marketing is still the best long term strategy. Right now I am forced to make money quickly and Ebay is what I know and can quickly make an income on. However, the more I read and study IM, the more I am convinced I need to spend part of each day, even now on developing my skills at making money with digital products and IM.
In the last week, I got an old familiar mental block. I have a warehouse full of old stuff (obsolete equipment) and cannot figure out what to sell. Literally, tons of stuff and I draw a blank on what to sell. My problem is that this is mainly obsolete stuff, however, doing some research on Ebay finds that old computer equipment still sell. A lot of it for over$100 and quite a bit for at least $50. At that rate I should have a gold mine back there.
To get the most money for an item you have to test it. It takes as long to test a bad item as it does to test a good one. Again, this gives me a mental block of trying to convince myself that the time involved is worth the return.
I see a number of things I need to work on to get myself continually on track. It does not matter if I am going slow or fast as long as I stay focused. My problem is that during the course of the day I lose focus and just cannot seem to figure our what I should be doing and often end up doing nothing.
Maybe you relate to what I am talking about. I hope that my experience sheds some light on others situations and helps them see their own answers. Sometimes knowing others are working through similar experiences help you work through your own situation.
