We Are Back To Work -- Slowly

I am amazed at how slowly we are going.  We are back to work, but it seems that I cannot accomplish as much as I want to in a day.  I thought I would split my days in half.  One half for Ebay sales and on half of internet marketing.  Ebay sales are taking all day to list only a few items.

Maybe I get hung up in  too many details.  I am not sure what is going on.  I should easily be able to take pictures of an item, research the price and then create a listing from one of my templates.  I am spending two hours on a single item.  WAY TO MUCH time for one piece unless it is worth over $100.

OK, I gave you a couple of my Ebay IDs.  I have 6 altogether.  I will not be disclosing all of them.  When you have online enterprises, it does not always pay to disclose all of what you are doing.  This goes for all of your websites as well as your Ebay IDs.  The reason is that you may not want people tracking exactly what your income is.  That is very easy on Ebay, just check the person’s ID.  You also may not want to give up your lucrative Ebay niche and have a lot of people duplicating what you are doing.

With Ebay and websites, if you make what you are doing public, there are those who will take your entire website or auction page and duplicate it for their own.  I mean an exact duplicate.  I know my readers would not, but this is a public blog. Anyone can access it.  If you site is popular and making money, people with steal your pictures and use them as their own.

So, show some of what you are doing. Give people a hint of what you know and can do. However, keep part of what you do confidential.  It will pay you in the long run.  A lot of the big internet “gurus” never show you all they are doing.

That said, in spite of not getting that many things listed so far, I listed a couple items that total over $340 right now. That happened overnight on my private site (sorry, I will not be disclosing this Ebay ID).  The items are things that came out of my parents storehouse when they died a couple of years ago. I am about to list a lot of things I do not want which they had stored for years.  Vintage things, antique things.

Do you have things sitting around your home that you no longer need? Is there a swap meet or thrift store near you where you always see many bargains?  Do you go to garage sales on a regular basis?  Ebay is an excellent way to get rid of things and to make some money.

Those two sales above are equivalent to a person working a 40 hour week for $8 an hour.  This is not an unusual sale for us and it is not unusual for a lot of  people.  I told you we expect to make at least $3000 on Ebay this month.  That is a realistic goal for Sharon and I.  Join us in the Ebay community.  You can sell and make money their too.

Give it a try, just click the Ebay banner below.
