Ebay & Camping
My main efforts this week are on getting Ebay auctions up and running and preparing to go camping this weekend. I am reading about creating mini-sites that are mainly target through PPC (pay per click) programs. I already have a few PPC campaigns running through Google’s ADWORDS. They are not doing that well, so I need to tweak them and try some more.
It is possible to drive target traffic to any page on your website using PPC. The thing you have to be careful of is paying more for the ads than they bring in. I have read of people spending $600 over a weekend and not making anything from their efforts. They do not know what they are doing and do not track what is happening with their adds. They go away for the weekend and check in on Monday to find they have lost a bunch of money.
PPC is an excellent way to drive traffic to site, but before you begin this program, be sure to read up on it. I am ready to buy Perry Marshall’s ebook on Pay Per Click. I will probably get it next week and I will let you know what I think of it.
One of the things that I do every day is spend 30 minutes reading about internet marketing. I have various courses I have purchased. I am reading some for the first time and others for the second time. There are a couple I have read three times so far.
