Blogger Problems Yesterday
I went to put the Google search box on the site yesterday and could not do it. Blogger.com was down. In fact it was down all day. I could not access their site and could not upload to the blog. Finally I was able to get in and take care of business.
This makes me think that is is getting close to time to get the FREE blogging program, Wordpress. Wordpress is a highly recommend program and best of all it is free. There are a lot of plug-ins for the program to make it even more functional. The beauty of this is that the program is yours. You are in control. Another company does not slow you down or create problems for you important information.
There is one problem with having your blog on Blogger.com. That problem is that your work is on their site. It does not become part of your website. OK, there is a solution to this. Blogger has a box to check that saves you blog on your own website instead of theirs. This means you work is saved on your site. If Blogger ever black listed your blog or even went out of business, you would have all of your blog pages saved at your site.
Blogging is an effective way to communicate with your readers. It is an easy way to get into the habit of writing. Writing a blog and then adding a little income producing parts to it teach you about making money on the internet. If you are just starting, having a blog is a way to help you test thing and do things that will increase your knowledge of internet marketing.
If you do not know what to write about, start by writing about what you are doing on the internet. You could start by simply writing a daily journal for family and friends to know what is going on in your life. Let the blog evolve from there, or if you get a brilliant idea, create a second blog. You can have as many blogs as you have time to keep up with.
