Balancing Ebay and Internet Marketing
Slowing I am getting a picture of how to balance my time between Ebay and Internet Marketing. My latest thought is one full day dedicated to one and the next day dedicated to the other. Maybe in this way I will not dilute my efforts as much. Getting organized and set into a plan is the most challenging part of this money making process.
Inertia is my biggest obstacle. When I get on a roll, I get a lot done. When I stop, it is often hard to get going again. Inertia keeps me going, but it sure keeps me in a rut at times too. Internet marketing is about developing new habits and self discipline. Self discipline and inertia go hand in hand. With a little discipline you get going and inertia keeps you going. Now, the secret is to learn how to keep that momentum up.
Momentum is what I am looking for. Continuous ongoing progress toward the IM goals I have set for Sharon and I. Of the two opportunities, I think in the long run internet marketing has a largest potential income producing opportunity. I believe that to make money today, Ebay is the fastest way of making money.
Today is Ebay listing day. I hope to get 15 to 20 auctions listed. In addition I hope to get pictures taken for auctions I will be listing. This is getting easier and easier. In the past we had a pattern of cleaning, pictures and research first thing in the day. In the afternoon and evening we would write up the auctions and list them. I am slowly getting back in that groove.
OK, I said I was going to put the Google search box in. I have been putting it off. It is a simple process. I am going to do it right after I finish writing this blog. How easy? Go to my Google Adsense account. Get the HTML code from their site. Paste the code into my blog template. That’s it! Think about putting a Google search box on your website. It is another income stream.
