Simple Information Is Somtime Difficult
Do you have trouble with simple things? I am finding that simple information is sometimes difficult to find. I want to password protect a folder of webpages. I need to do this so I can sell a digital product and only someone with with password will be able to access the page. I have found quite a bit of information, but now real answers. Some things I just read this morning may be the answer, but I’m not sure. I will have to try them.
Yesterday was spent looking for this answer. On answer was using a .htaccess file. Also a .htpass file (I think it was) that needs to be loaded to a place on my website that I do not seem to have access to. I will be researching it more today.
I am surprised that such an important function for any internet marketeer selling a digital product is not spelled out in clear English and easily found at a number of places on the internet.
Maybe this is my calling. Write an ebook on EXACTLY how to password protect a website, file folder or webpage and sell it as my the first digital product I create.
