I Nedd A More Definate Plan
As you know I have been writing down a lot of goals, plans and ideas. I look at them and they are not all in one place, in one folder or notebook. Although I am doing a lot of things right, I am doing them wrong. I really need a more definite plan, an organized plan.
Going to and from our camping trip, about 5 hours driving each direction we listened to Tony Robbins’ “Time Of Your Life”. We got to tape 9 of 10. I thought we’d go through the entire course, but will have to finish it here. THEN, we need to go through it again with our notebooks and pens in motion.
I believe that our success in internet marketing will not be dependent on expertise regarding anything relating to them internet, webpages and IM. Yes, we will need some expertise in online matters, but I am convinced our success will come from our attitude about what we are doing. Success will come from the amount of energy we put into the things we do.
Learning internet marketing is secondary to our becoming committed to the project and putting the daily effort into making ourselves work at the level success takes. Neither Sharon or I are doing that. We are “goofing off”, holding back and not doing all we could to guarantee our success.
Are you trying to make a profitable presence online? Are you having difficulty? Ask yourself the questions I am asking myself. How much time are you REALLY putting into your project. I am short changing myself and yet telling myself I am working. I have said this before, the only time you are working is when you are creating a product. A product could be a webpages for your site, an ebook or a program. It is something that will pay you money in one way or another when it is completed.
When we were driving listening to Tony Robbins, that was a productive use of time, but it was not work. Reading the forums where I am learning a lot about internet marketing is not work. I am only working when I am writing and creating a “product”. How about you? How much actual work are you doing?
