Today Is Slow Mode Day
Whatever I have it not getting worse — cold/flu — so I am trying to get things done online. This is the magic of generating income with digital products that keep paying whether you work any given day or not. Every day is casual Friday and any day is a day off. The only problem with taking days off is you don’t make any money from work not done on those days. You already created income keeps coming, but new income that allows you to grow is slowed.
If you have a job working for a boss, you often go to work sick. You can’t afford to take days off when you don’t feel good. You have to save sick days for when you are SICK. This is a reason I am very interesting in growing my business online. It will mean I don’t have to work if I have health problems, or for any reason can’t work for a day, a week, a month or longer.
Creating a strong online presence means you can have the freedom to be sick. Have the time to take an extended vacation. Have the money to feel comfortable and free of worry. So, what is it worth to you to create a business online? What if it took 2, 3 or 5 years to reach the point of generating enough money to depend on? What will you be doing in 5 years if you don’t try this?
Internet marketing is one of the least expensive ways to get into business. Even if you splurge on a number of programs and multiple websites and a few guru course on internet marketing, you can still get going for well under $1000. If you don’t splurge and do a lot of studying you could get going for under $100. Some have even make a good part time income starting with nothing. The less you spend the harder it will be to generate income, but it is possible.
On the free end, you could create 1 to 10 or more blogs at Blogger.com. They are totally free. You could add Adsense ads and get some affiliate programs on the blogs. This would be totally free to do.
If you know absolute nothing about creating a website and are not sure you could even get started building a website, then SBI (Site Built It) is an excellent way to get started. SBI does all of the technical work for you. Basically all you need to do is write content. Get your free copy of The Affiliate Masters Course which describes in detail how SBI builds a website. This ebook is free and tells you all you need to know. You could get started with this ebook alone, however I wouldn’t advise it if you are new.
SBI has its limitations. If you are already into building webpages and know some HTML and can upload images and pages using FTP then you may find SBI rather cumbersome. It is very limited in what it offers for people needing CGI, PHP, C-Panel and other bells and whistles. HOWEVER, if you don’t know what I’m talking about, SBI may be an excellent choice for you.
I have an SBI site and it is easy to put pages up, optimize them and track information. If you are new to building webpages you can’t go wrong for the price.
