Saving Money By Doing It Yourself
I am excited about making money online in the coming year, but there are still ways I will be frugal in the coming months. Right now I need to change the oil in my motorhome. It is a gas Chevy 454 engine. Nothing special. I saw a sigh the other day in a camping store for an oil change — ONLY — $89.95. NO WAY! It is just five of six quarts of oil and a filter. 15 minutes MAX to do the job. Drain oil into a lidded oil change pan and dispose of it at the auto parts store down the street when it is convenient. Less than $15.
Until I’m in the BIG money and it doesn’t pay to even change my own oil, I will continue to be frugal and do it myself.
Friday through Sunday we will be at the beach camping in the motorhome. New Year’s Eve at the beach. I will be taking along some internet marketing reading to do when I am just relaxing doing nothing. Instead of a novel I will be reading how to make money on the internet. I am finding that IM reading material is more exciting than any of the thriller authors I used to read.
I am ready to start plugging some numbers into my business plan. Not $$$ yet. The number of hours I will work a day. The number of web pages I will personally write a day. The number of sites I will create in a months time. The number of mini-sites I will create. I need targets to aim for so I will know if I am on schedule or not.
When I begin to fall behind on my targeted amount of content I need to create, then I will need to start looking into having some ghost writers at places like elance or rentacoder write for me. I haven’t tried ghost writing yet, but I understand I can get decent articles written for between $5 and $10 per article. Top quality technical articles cost more, but pretty good quality can be bought for the lower price.
