Make Your First $1,000,000

Is it possible for you to make your first $1,000,000 next year?  If not next year, how about within a 3 or 5 year plan?  I told you yesterday that I plan to take up the challenge and make $1,000,000 in 2006.  IMPOSSIBLE you say!  Did you know that CNN reported that there are 2.3 MILLION millionaires in the United States.  There is more opportunity today in this country, or in the WORLD to make a large amount of money.  The Internet has opened these opportunities to more people.

Yesterday was spent organizing our work area. This office is so cluttered, I’m not sure how we’d done anything recently.  It isn’t done yet. We are still taking down piles of paper and stacks of junk that is piled on file cabinets and any flat surface around.

Did you check out the idea of spending thirty minutes writing down what you are going to do to move toward the accomplishment of a goal?  Today I rewrote my ideas on how to make $1,000,000 in 2006.  A lot of that is not HOW, but WHY.  I want to help and make a difference in other people’s lives.  I can best do this with a large amount of money.  I talked about all that yesterday.

So, I haven’t even started planning the exact moves I’ll make and when I will make them. I am spending some time setting up the physical and mental environment.  OH, I have ideas for products I own I can resell.  I have ideas for my own ebooks and programs, but I haven’t put those on paper yet. They will be part of my business plan.  It will all be spelled out specifically. I will have targets I can see. I will goal I can measure progress with.

If you think this is a pipe dream and no one makes a million dollars just because they decide to, CHANGE that for 30 minutes. Sit down and write down why YOU could make $1,000,000 by….and give a date.  NO NEGATIVE THINKING. Write down why you and your family could use this money and what you could do with it.

Many people think money is evil, and even mis-quote the Bible.  Money is not the root of all evil. Lust or greed for money is what is the bad thing.  No church, no charity, no family can exist without money.  Each of these “organizations” can function better with MORE money.

One thing to remember is that money for the sake of getting more money shouldn’t be your goal.  Family is more important than money and time can’t be taken from your family to make money.  HOWEVER, you family can enjoy a lot more of life’s experiences if you have more money.  A week at the beach instead of the regular vacation at your parents place in another state.  Disneyland instead of the local fair.

I keep reading people say “family”, “children” and such are what they are not willing to sacrifice to make an extra buck.  If you are creative you can make the extra buck and actually spend more quality time with your family.  Sit down for 30 minutes and write down how your can do just that.
