Internet Marketing Decisions

There are a lot of decisions to make. Internet marketing decisions include they types of sites you will develop, how many blogs you will create, how you will monetize or make money on each site and much more.

If all you do is create a quality site, it will eventually be picked up by the search engines. It may rank well or it may not.  You have to come up with tactics like pay per click advertising, submitting articles to article directories, submitting press releases online and much more.

We are going camping Friday through Sunday. I plan to take my notebooks and do some serious planning.  The weather says rain over the weekend, so there is a good chance I will spend a lot of time in the motorhome.  That means TIME to read, plan and study IM.  I can iron out my schedule more and work on the business plan.

I paused part of my PPC (pay per click) campaign. It was cost $2 to make $1.  That is not a good return on investment.  It may be the end of the year and after the New Year starts it will change. I will test it again then and also adjust the campaign.  In fact maybe I’ll make one adjustment today and try it again sooner.

My PPC campaigns are small.  I only have two running targeting about 50 keywords or keyword phrases.  This is just a get my feet wet experiment.  PLUS,  $25 of what I am spending was a “gift” from my ISP for signing up a new domain name.  So, I was experimenting on their “dime”, not mine.  At this point I have used up their money and am into mine.  I will test and carefully analyze each step I take.
