Swapmeet Day

We are back home and back to work.  I caught up on all the email that piled up over the holiday.  Well, I looked to see what was important. I didn’t read all of it.  I get quite a few newsletters.  I think I should un-subscribe to some of them.

Today we are driving down to Los Angeles, near the airport.  There is a once a month HAM radio swap meet there.  They sell any kind of electronics, HAM radios, computers, test equipment, and much more.  They don’t allow personal household items, only electronics.  Most stuff there is used.  There are not many home stereos or TV or home entertainment electronics.

Last month we did find a couple Christmas gifts for the grandkids.  New software. Today I want some connectors for the motorhome and some software if I can find it.

Yesterday was “BLACK FRIDAY” or the day stores are said to go from the red into the black financially.  Lots of big sales going on and a good time to save money.  We didn’t go.  When you are on a budget, even the best sales don’t mean anything if you don’t really need the things on sale.
