Inexpensive Dinner Out -- NOT Fast Food

There are a lot of options for inexpensive dinners.  One of our favorites, when we want to splurge, is a all you can eat buffet.  Last night we went to, “Hometown Buffet”  for dinner.  A very good meal and the variety is great.  I should probably eat more from the salad bar section, but I avoided that.  I did go easy on the deserts.  One cookie and a small piece of cake.

Our other all you can eat buffet is, “All You Can Eat Chinese Food”.  That is alway a treat.  They have quite a few of our favorites and some interesting dishes we normally don’t see.  Fast food is our normal “dinner out”, but once in a while it is nice to have something different.

Here is a great offer if you live in Southern California and are either a Veteran or Fire or Police personnel.  From November through mid-December those groups get into Knott’s Berry Farm for free.  Different dates for each group, but you can get the details at Knott's Berry Farm Schedule  There is no catch. It is free for the Vet, Fire or Police person and one guest.  If you take others with you, they get in for only $10.  This is a yearly event a Knott’s Berry Farm to honor those who put their lives on the line and serve our country and our cities.

Gardening — Looks as good as an amusement park. Maybe better.
