Getting The Most For The Least
One of the challenges of living frugally is getting more for your money. It does not mean buying the cheapest thing you can find, but getting the best for the least amount. Shopping sales is obviously one way to get better quality for less money.
We went to a sale at a clothing store yesterday and were about to buy Sharon a new winter coat. We found a nice looking, fake fleece lined leather coat. Sharon liked it. I like it. THEN, we inspected the coat. The quality was very poor. There were places it was not even sewn. The second coat was just like the first.
So much for that sale. You want to get the most for you money, but it pays to check out what you are buying. Inspect the items you are going to purchase. Look for spots, poor quality and any thing else that could be wrong with the item.
It was an interesting sale. They had the #17 NASCAR racecar out in front of the store. When they fired up that 750 horsepower engine, it was LOUDER than anything I have ever heard. It was literally deafening.
NASCAR Power — Deafening!!
