Free Stuff! We Love It!

We love free stuff. How about you? Do you look free things when you can? We got all those advertised free with rebate items. We had to pay sales tax and postage for the rebates, but we got some nice stuff free. I told you about the two for one offer on the cruise yesterday. Not quite free, but one person travels free.

Today we are going to Knott’s Berry Farm amusement park free. WOW! Does is get much better than that? There are so many free things to take advantage of all around us. Do you have a library card? All the free books you could ever want to read. In addition, most libraries even have music and movies to check out.

Earlier this year we went to a concert in the park for free and saw a popular country group, "Sugarland". Many cities have summer concerts in the park. Grand openings often mean a free lunch. Sometimes it is only hot dogs, chips and a soda, but we have had tri-tip sandwiches with all the fixin’s.

When Sharon and I first go married, we found our living room lamps out by the trash dumpster in my parents apartment building. Some people make regular rounds getting free things "dumpster diving". I will bet that if you did a Google search for dumpster diving you would come up with quite a few results.

Have you done a search for freebies or free stuff or similar searches on the internet? There are a lot of sites that list many manufacturers’ free offers. Big companies promote their products on the internet. Enterprising websites group all those freebies in one place and you can pick and choose from quite a few free products.

The internet is also a great place to get coupons for your favorite foods, favorite grocery stores and even for your next pizza. Sharon always checks online for specials before calling in an order for a pizza from our local pizza place.

The secret to free stuff is to always be on the lookout for freebies and when you learn about them, take advantage of the offer. If you start looking for and noticing free things, you will soon be noticing a lot more of them that were always there but you never paid attention too.

My son got a  Free Horse,  but feeding a horse sure isn’t FREE!
