Camping Is Good For The Budget
Do you know that camping is a very inexpensive way to spend a weekend or a vacation? Camping is good for the budget. Campsites are any where from FREE to $25 a night depending on where you camp and where you live. It doesn’t matter whether you camp under the stars, in a tent of in a RV. The price is usually the same for any campsite.
Imagine a campfire, you and your family and the peace of a natural surrounding. You are away from life’s stress and obligations and just enjoying yourself. You can hike, bike or just sit around the campsite. You can have a roaring campfire or enjoy the beauty of a dark night. Whatever you enjoy is how you plan your camping trip.
Today we are camped next to a couple we met on the Internet. We have been to group campouts with them before. It is really fun to camp with family or friends. Even if you don’t have camping friends, you can find them. We found a lot of our “friends” on the internet. We have been camping with some of them 8 times. Some live hundreds of miles from us and we never see them between camping trips.
Maybe camping is for you. Why not give it a try. Tents are very inexpensive and now they are very easy to put up. A small trailer will make camping more comfortable. A large trailer or motorhome is a very different camping experience. I am sitting in our 34 foot 1988 Bounder motorhome right now. I am looking out at the ocean and waves crashing on the beach. It is a warm day and I am inside with two air conditioners on. They are running on the self contained generator. My wife is outside in the shade of our portable awning playing a domino game with one of our Internet friends. Can life get much better?
