Beautiful California Weather
The weather today is ideal. It is clear and warm with a slight ocean breeze. You could not ask for a better Thanksgiving day. Add the beach to that and you have the perfect mix.
We have seen dophins and seal in and just past the wave line. Of course lots of sea gulls and pelicans. Camping at the beach is always an adventure. Last night the waves were slightly florecsent. Tiny organisisms make waves glow when they crash at night. This doesn’t always happen, and last night is was fairly dim. However, we have seen it the last 3 times camping at the beach.
Our $8 pallet of firewood it lasting and lasting. We have a fire going from just before sunset until bed time. A lumber yard is a good place to get firewood. Some yards will give it to you for free, others, like the one close to us, charge a small amount.
