Watching A Sunset Is Frugal Entertainment
Stopping to enjoy the beautiful things in life is part of what enriches your life without any expense at all. Last night we were on our way to a SHeDAISY concert. As we drove down the California coast about an hour north of Los Angeles, the sun was setting. We just had to stop and watch it for a few minutes.
SHeDaisy is a group of 3 sisters and SHeDaisy is Indian for, “Sisters”. They were a great group with a lot of energy. The theater was at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. It was a small intimate theater so even though we were near the rear of the theater, we still had good seats. I love a small venue.
Guess what? The concert tickets were free. We won them on a local radio station. Check my article on winning radio contests at How We Win On The Radio. We have been to so many free concerts I would have a hard time remembering them all. They are mostly country concerts, but we have seen Janet Jackson, Princes, Guy, The MTV Music Awards and other non-country concerts. ALL of them were free. All tickets were won dialing into radio contests. If you haven’t tried radio contests, you should check into it.
