Time Is Fleeting. Frual Use Of Time.
Time slips by day by day and year by year. We look back and wonder where it all went. Years go by and we do not reach to places we had dreamed of when we were younger. We let time pass up by one hour, one minute at a time and never give it a second thought.
We are too busy. We don’t “have the time”. We already have too much to do. OK, what could you achieve if you had more time? Could you write a book or build a bird house. Could you travel to far away places or rebuilt a classic car. As the years have slipped by I look back and wonder how much time I let go by and never used it. It went by un-noticed.
I see places I want to go and things I want to do. I am looking for ways to get there and do that. I have been very frugal and saved my time for later WHEN……..when I had more time, when I had more money, when the kids weren’t babies, when the kids weren’t in school, WHEN, WHEN, WHEN! I am now ready to retrieve all that saved time and it is gone, gone forever. I can’t get it back. Was I too frugal?
Do you have a dream? If you do, make it a goal. Write it down and plan it today. Time will not wait for you. Come on, humor me and write it down. Write down what you could do today to make it happen. It can be big or small. A trip to the beach or a trip to Australia. A better apartment or a new home. We sit and watch time slip by, not even knowing it’s going.
Don’t regret time gone by, but don’t let more time go by without doing things that slipped away before. Build a dream. Travel a new path. Use time for more today than you have in the past. See what rewards you can achieve with a better use of time.
