Feb 5, '05 A Boat On The Ocean
The whale watching trip was very relaxing, but we did not even see one whale. Usually we see a lot of dolphins when we go on a whale watching trip. This time, we did not see dolphins either.
Although we did not see whales, the trip was still well worth it. It is a three hour cruise that gets you away from life's everyday activities. You are out on the ocean on a boat and there is not much you can do but relax and enjoy yourself.
Although the adult ticket is $26 a person or $22 for those of us over 55 years old, it is still well worth the money. Think of it was cheap therapy.
We stood at the bow of the boat for most of the trip. You can walk around the boat. There are seats at the back of the boat and on the second deck. Where ever you sit or stand, it is a great experience to be out on the ocean. We have been on a few whale watches and never come away disappointed, even if we are not lucky enough to see any whales.
