Jan 21, '05 Rattlesnakes
Interesting news here by the Pacific ocean. It seems that all the heavy rains that caused all of the flooding in California, also sent debris down streams and rivers into the ocean. In that debris, clinging for life, are RATTLESNAKES. Our local radio news announced that these vipers are being found on our beaches. They also said the cleanup crews who are charged with removing all the debris are going to wait a couple weeks to get started in hope the snake move on back inland.
Tons of tree trunks, branches and vegetation on the beaches
Today I am working on writing pages for my websites. In addition to the two blogs I write, I hope to get at least 2 website pages written. I have the ideas. I just need to put them "on paper".
Saturday, Sharon and I plan to go see the Monarch Butterflies in Ventura, California. There is a park there where they like to spend the winter. In a good season they say this park can host 20,000 Monarchs. There aren't as many this year, possibly due to the rains we had. This is sponsored by a local 4H Club. I am not sure how much it costs, but we have lived in the area 6 years and have not been to see them yet.
