Jan 15, '05 Movie Day Was Great

The movie yesterday was GREAT!. 3D movies today do not use the old red and blue glasses, they use a newer technology with gray lenses. The movie is a cartoon, but the people and places look real. Modern animation is at a totally different level than when I grew up. The falling snow in the movie looks like
you could reach out and grab some. I am not a cartoon person but this movie was very impressive. The story was good but the animation and 3D were spectacular.

When we arrived at the theater, we didn't recognize the area. We use to live in Santa Clarita, where it was. The new mall and Town Center Mall are amazing to me. I could get lost where I lived for 28 years. There are thousands of new homes. I didn't recognized streets I drove on hundreds of times. What is that
old saying, "You can never go home". I see what they mean, things change and home is not the same any more.

Here is a picture of Sharon sitting on the fountain out in front of the theater. There are other brass figures different places in the mall. Even the mall was an experience and we only saw part of it.
